Dear Beloved Friends & Benefactors

On behalf of the Salesians of Don Bosco and the youth under our care, I write these few lines to you. We are an international congregation dedicated to the service of youth especially the poor, the marginalized and the abandoned. The year 2006 marked the centenary of Salesian Presence in India. We are in all ten provinces in India. Our province of St. Francis Xavier -  Mumbai is spread over four states. We have in all around 34 institutions under our care. Of these 20 institutions alone are dedicated for the welfare and education of the poor, the marginalized, the orphans and the semi orphans. Of the remaining a few are parishes and the rest are training centers for our seminarians.

Many of the children in our institutions have known far too much despair and sadness in their short lives. It is because of the help of generous benefactors that we are able to make life memorable for each and everyone of them. Could you please give us a helping hand? The mission is vast. Hence we turn to you for your support and help, as we carry on our mission work towards the poor, and the destitute, the street kids, the marginalized and the drug addicts. We need your help to rebuild their shattered dreams and lives.

WE NEED YOUR BLESSINGS…

-      t- provide food, clothes and schooling for the children,

-      t- provide meals, medical aid for the poor and the destitute,

-      t- offer hope and a bright future to the street kids, marginalized and drug addicts,

-      t- reach out to drought stricken villages in our mission areas,

-      And to support our seminarians so that the mission carries on.

WE ARE COUNTING ON YOUR GENEROUS FRIENDSHIP!!!
